A hospitality-oriented green installation designed to transform a short-term rental property in Neos Kosmos into a softer, more immersive urban living experience.
Developed for an AirBnB apartment managed by a hospitality company, the project reimagines balconies, patios and transitional outdoor spaces as lush micro-landscapes that extend the atmosphere of the interior into the outdoors. Tropical foliage, layered planters, climbing species and soft ornamental compositions introduce privacy, cooling and visual depth within the dense urban fabric of central Athens.
The planting strategy combines sculptural species such as Strelitzia and Philodendron with softer Mediterranean textures, cascading greenery and lightweight bamboo screens, creating a balance between boutique hospitality aesthetics and low-maintenance resilience. The result is a compact urban oasis designed to elevate guest experience, strengthen the identity of the property and bring a sense of calm, greenery and seasonal life into the everyday rhythm of the city.
