A private edible garden and greenhouse installation in Agia Paraskevi, designed as a living backyard ecosystem where regenerative cultivation, biodiversity, and seasonal food production become part of everyday domestic life.
This project transformed a private backyard in Agia Paraskevi into a fully operational edible garden and greenhouse ecosystem, designed around year-round food production, biodiversity, and everyday interaction with nature. The intervention combined custom-built raised beds, a lightweight greenhouse structure, seasonal vegetable cultivation, aromatic herbs, irrigation infrastructure, and regenerative growing practices adapted to the specific microclimate and conditions of the site.
Beyond food production, the garden was designed as a living domestic landscape — blending cultivation, leisure, experimentation, and ecological stewardship into daily life. From greenhouse propagation and intensive summer crops to pollinator-friendly planting and natural cultivation methods, the space gradually evolved into a small-scale urban microfarm that reconnects the household with seasonality, self-sufficiency, and the rhythms of the soil.
