A triangular urban plot of approximately 1,450 m², located adjacent to the natural stream corridor of Ventiri street, reimagined as a regenerative community landscape and open ecological learning space.
The proposal explores how an unattended municipal lot can gradually transform into a soft public infrastructure: a place for cultivation, environmental education, biodiversity, intergenerational interaction, and everyday neighborhood life.
Rather than functioning as a conventional park, the concept envisions a living landscape shaped around ecological processes and seasonal participation. Existing mature vegetation and the natural topography become the foundation of the intervention, preserving the semi-wild identity of the site while introducing light-touch spatial activations.
The study includes:
- community vegetable gardens and edible planting zones,
- aromatic and pollinator gardens,
- composting and vermiculture stations,
- botanical and mushroom cultivation areas,
- shaded resting pockets and communal gathering spaces,
- environmental workshops for schools and local residents,
- and regenerative planting strategies connected to the nearby stream ecosystem.
The triangular geometry of the plot informed the spatial organization of the concept, allowing each edge and corner to host a distinct ecological or social function. The proximity to the stream creates opportunities for microclimate enhancement, habitat restoration, and low-impact irrigation approaches.
The visual studies developed for the project explore different atmospheres and possible future scenarios for the site — from quiet contemplative paths and native planting corridors to participatory gardening areas and family-oriented gathering spaces. The intention is not to impose a rigid masterplan, but to imagine a flexible framework capable of evolving together with the local community over time.
