An elevated Mediterranean rooftop garden designed as a living urban retreat above the dense fabric of the city.
Located on the rooftop of Stegi in Neos Kosmos, this project explored the creation of a calm and immersive green environment within the contemporary urban landscape of Athens. Through Mediterranean planting, edible and aromatic species, natural textures and carefully composed spatial interventions, the rooftop was transformed into a living ecosystem that encourages gathering, reflection and a slower connection with nature. The design approach balanced biodiversity, atmosphere and functionality, allowing the space to operate both as a sensory garden and as a shared urban refuge overlooking the city.
